We review how purchases, sign-ups, quote requests and wholesale inquiries are tracked today. Missing events are added so every later decision rests on real numbers. We also read your store the way a first-time visitor would: speed on a phone, clarity of the offer, trust signals and checkout friction.
We build or tune the places people leave their details: a welcome sign-up, a quote form for custom or bulk orders, a wholesale inquiry page and category landing pages written for the searches buyers use. Search and Meta campaigns start small, aimed at the products and offers with the best margins.
Search terms, product pages and ad audiences are reviewed against orders and sign-ups. Budget moves toward what pays and away from what only generates traffic. We add pages and campaigns for the winners and cut the losers, then plan the next quarter.
Division of work
| Piece | What we set up | What you provide |
|---|---|---|
| Tracking | Events for purchase, add to cart, sign-up, quote request and wholesale inquiry, reviewed monthly | Access to your analytics, store platform and ad accounts |
| Capture points | Welcome sign-up copy and placement, quote form, wholesale inquiry page | Your discount policy, wholesale terms and consent language |
| Category and product pages | Search-focused page structure and content briefs for top categories | Accurate product data, photos and stock information |
| Search ads | Campaign structure, negative terms, landing page match and conversion tracking | Margins and average order value, so budgets reflect profit |
| Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) | Retargeting and prospecting tests with creative direction | Product photos, video and any seasonal promotions |
| Wholesale and quote follow-up | Routing, status tracking and reporting on inquiries | Someone to reply quickly and send pricing |
| Email and text programs | Capture and consent set up so lists are clean | Your email platform and the messages themselves; a retention specialist can run the program |
Defining the lead
If you sell a catalog of products that people buy in one visit, the lead is often just a visitor who is not ready yet. An email address gets you the chance to talk to that person again. A first purchase gets you a customer. These are different goals, and they call for different pages. A sign-up offer on a category page does not belong on a checkout page, where it can distract a buyer who was about to pay.
For stores that sell custom, bulk or made-to-order items, the lead is a quote request, and it behaves like a service business lead. Someone needs to reply, ask a few questions, send a price and follow up. Wholesale inquiries behave the same way, only with a longer sales cycle and a larger order. Many stores neglect these because the main storefront runs itself, yet a handful of reliable wholesale accounts can matter more to the business than thousands of single orders.
Stores with a physical location or a local delivery area have a further source: people searching nearby for a product they can pick up today. A complete map listing and pages for local pickup or local delivery capture buyers who would rather not wait for shipping. Our local search experience is most useful here, which is why we describe fit in terms of your business model rather than your industry.
One more distinction matters: the difference between a lead and a customer you can reach again. A store with a thousand email addresses collected through a giveaway for an unrelated prize has a list that looks big and performs poorly. A smaller list built from people who asked about your products, signed up for a back-in-stock notice or requested a bulk quote is worth more because every address came with a reason. Decide in the first two weeks which sign-up reasons match your products, and let the offers, the wording and the placement follow from that choice.
Where it breaks
Speed
Most store traffic arrives on phones. Heavy images and stacked pop-ups send people away before they see the offer.
Margin
A permanent discount for any email address may fill the list with people who only buy on sale. Test offers against profit, not list size.
Visibility
If a retailer or a custom-order buyer cannot find the form in a few seconds, they leave. Link it where they look.
Checkout
Requiring an account before purchase loses buyers who were ready. Offer guest checkout and invite sign-up afterward.
Compliance
Email and text marketing both have rules. Collect clear consent and check current requirements for your markets; this is not legal advice.
Measurement
Sessions and clicks do not pay the bills. Tie sources to orders, sign-ups and inquiries that became sales.
Costs
Straight answers
It is capturing interested people before, instead of or after a purchase: email and text sign-ups, quote requests, wholesale inquiries and first-time buyers. The goal is revenue, so each type of lead is tracked to the orders it produces.
Not for every one. We are a local and service marketing agency, so we are strongest with stores that have a local, wholesale, custom-order or pickup side. For a pure national catalog with feed management and retention programs, a specialist may be better, and we will tell you.
Landing pages are $495 a month, Organic Growth runs $1,495 to $3,495 a month, and managed paid ads start at $895 a month for one platform. Ad spend is separate. Nothing is under contract and there is no setup fee.
No. We do not buy, sell or broker leads or contact lists. We build capture points and campaigns on accounts you own.
No. Our work focuses on your own site, your map listing and your ad accounts. Marketplace management is a different skill and a separate decision.
We set up capture and consent so your list is clean and tracked. Day-to-day email and text production is usually better handled by a retention specialist or your own team inside your platform.
A service business wants a phone call and an estimate. A store usually wants a purchase or a reason to come back, so the leads are subscribers, quotes and wholesale inquiries, and the funnel is shorter but the volume of visitors is far larger. Tracking and the quality of product and category pages carry more weight, and the follow-up is often automated rather than a human call.
By orders, sign-ups and inquiries that became sales, with sources shown side by side. We watch cost against margin, not against clicks.
