Get results in days, not monthsResults in days, not monthsWhy measure
A technician's day is a limited supply. Each slot spent on a diagnostic visit for an appliance beyond economical repair, or on a caller outside your brands, is a slot not used on a refrigerator that needed a thermistor and could be fixed that afternoon. So the measures that matter are not clicks or even calls. They are the share of calls that were serviceable, the share of those that booked, the share of booked visits that ended in a paid repair, and what each of those cost to produce. That is why appliance repair lead generation has to be judged on repaired appliances and not on rings.
Appliance buyers decide quickly. A warm kitchen, spoiled groceries or a flooded laundry room pushes them to search on a phone, compare two or three listings and call. Most also want to know about the service call fee, whether it applies to the repair, whether you work on their brand and how soon you can arrive. A program that answers those on the listing, the page and the phone script will convert more of the same traffic. Measurement is how you find out whether it does.
The mix of appliances you service changes what the numbers look like. A refrigerator or freezer failure is urgent, so those callers book fast and rarely shop around beyond the first answer. A dryer that no longer heats or a dishwasher that leaves water behind is annoying but can wait a day, so those callers compare more, ask about the fee and sometimes disappear. Ovens and ranges bring holiday spikes. Washers can mean a flooded floor. If you also take premium or built-in brands, those calls are worth tracking apart, since the parts, the diagnosis and the ticket size are different from a standard top-load washer.
Repair versus replace is a decision inside the lead. An older unit with a major part failure may be better replaced, and an honest technician says so. That is good business, but only if your marketing is not sending you a steady flow of callers who were never going to repair. Listing text, page copy and ad wording can set expectations about age, brands and the diagnostic fee, so fewer visits are wasted on units that were not repair candidates. Counting those outcomes by source is how you learn whether your ads need tightening.
We build and run the owned channels and the tracking behind appliance repair lead generation. We do not sell leads, and we do not run a pay-per-lead network. That also means we are not paid for call volume that your dispatcher cannot use. If the data shows that one source brings mostly replace-not-repair callers, we want to know that early, and so should you.
Numbers by stage
| Stage | What to count | What a bad reading usually means |
|---|---|---|
| Seen | Map views, local page visits, search ad impressions by town | Listing categories or service areas are wrong |
| Reached | Tracked calls, form fills and text requests by source | Weak page, hidden phone number or unclear brands serviced |
| Serviceable | Calls inside your area, brand and appliance type | Ads or pages attract parts-only shoppers and wrong brands |
| Booked | Calls and forms that became a scheduled visit | Slow answer, no same day offer or unclear service call fee |
| Completed | Visits that ran and what was found | Poor pre-qualification, missing model or serial number |
| Repaired | Paid repairs, plus declines and replacement advice given | Pricing mismatch or an oversupply of old, low value units |
| Returned | Repeat customers and referrals, reviews received | No follow-up message or review request after the job |
| Partner accounts | Jobs from landlords, property managers and warranty or dispatch companies, tracked separately | Volume that looks good but pays less than direct customers |
Treat each row of appliance repair lead generation reporting as a question, not a score. A single month is noisy, so watch direction over several months and across seasons.
Tracking setup
Calls
Separate tracked numbers for the map listing, each search campaign and the website, forwarding to your main line. Each call carries a source.
Written inquiries
Forms that ask for appliance type, brand, symptom and a photo of the model plate, with the source logged on submit.
Outcomes
Booked, declined by us, declined by them, parts only, wrong area, wrong brand. Dispatchers set it in seconds from a short list.
Revenue
Work orders carry the original source, so paid repairs trace to the call that started them.
Speed
A text back or voicemail rule for calls you cannot answer, plus a daily list of missed calls to return.
Paid ads
Calls and forms report to the ad platform, so campaigns learn from real inquiries and not accidental clicks.
Monthly routine
Open last month's completed visits next to their sources. Which channel produced paid repairs, not only calls?
Look at calls you could not serve and calls you did not answer. They tell you whether you need broader brand coverage, tighter ad targeting or better phone coverage.
Compare booking rates for callers who saw the fee on the page with those who did not. Adjust the wording where the drop-off is.
Remove queries for parts, manuals, DIY fixes and brands you do not service. Add terms customers used in real calls.
One for the listing, one for pages or ads, one for your phone process. Write them down and review them next month.
Questions
There are three entry points. RankGuarantee™ local pages are $495 monthly, one-platform ad management is $895 monthly, and Organic Growth, which adds the listing, search work and AI answers, starts at $1,495 monthly. The ad budget goes straight to the platform. Starting costs nothing extra and nothing binds you afterward. Judge it by paid repairs, not call counts.
The listing, pages for each appliance and town, ads, tracking and reporting. It should also include call handling advice, because a good program cannot make up for unanswered calls.
Selling leads is not part of what we do. Warranty dispatch, landlords and builders are accounts you manage yourself, and we count their jobs beside everything else so the margins can be compared honestly.
Capture age, brand and symptom on the form or script. A status for replacement advice shows which sources bring older units, so you can adjust ads and offers.
Only if it is true. Many companies charge a diagnostic or service call fee, sometimes credited to the repair. Say what you do clearly, and track how booking changes when wording does.
No. Season, weather, competition and your coverage area change volume. We commit to building, tracking and reporting honestly, not to a guaranteed number of calls.
Only the ones you really service, named exactly: washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, cooktops, microwaves, and the brands your technicians know. Naming them helps the right callers find you and tells the wrong ones to skip. If you are factory authorized for a brand, say so only if it is current and documented.
As fast as you can, because a caller with a broken appliance usually contacts several companies. Track the minutes from inquiry to first reply by source. A missed call that gets a text back within minutes often still becomes a booking, and a missed call that waits until tomorrow usually does not.
Then the first fix is call handling, not more traffic. We will limit ads to your capacity and measure missed calls so you can add staff or routing where it pays.
